The functional principle of the Reiters is simple and effective. Two rods emerge from a transformer carrying several spots which can be swiveled in all directions. Various rod shapes and a varying number and type of spots offer an unlimited range of possibilities.
The basic idea of the Reiters is to create a "harmony of arcs". The shapes of the spots, the transformer and the rod pairs developed from a mathematical multiplication of the radius of the illuminant. As a result, all the Reiter elements are in a harmonious proportion to each other no matter how they are combined.
